Play Level programs are structured to help young athletes further expand on existing fundamental skills that have been learned to be able to accurately and effectively use in live gameplay scenarios. When young athletes enter the play level programs they should have a good base of general athletic skills and sport specific skills that can be challenged further. Compete level programs are designed to push players who have decided they want to achieve higher levels of success within the sport of basketball. These programs are intense and have an emphasis on teaching the details of the game as it is taught at the highest level of the sport. Players at this level need to have a good understanding of the fundamentals (footwork, technique, mechanics, principles etc.)as well as an ability to demonstrate them consistently. Additionally players at this level should have a higher IQ than average of the sport and be able to receive coaching then be able to apply it on-court using a combination of general athletic skills and sport specific skills. This program develops young athletes’ physical literacy as well as sport specific skills in a variety of sports. The Nucleus Sports Group Multisports Development program is for those who want to play recreationally and is intended to be a fun experience to keep youths motivated to enjoy sports all while learning essential life skills. This program is different from other sports programs as it incorporates multiple sports into one program giving youth exposure to numerous sports and transferable skills ultimately supporting early multilateral development which is an essential part of successful long term athlete development.
Every session includes multiple sports and activities such as basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, and athletics.
