Eligibility: Incoming 1st-8th Grade Players

The Gridiron MultiSport Development camp is a FUN experience with so many benefits. 

GridIron Athletics MULTISPORT DEVELOPMENT

Dates:

Week 1: July 10th – July 14th 2023

Week 2: July 17th – July 21st 2023

Week 3: July 24th – July 28th 2023

Week 4: July 31st – August 4th 2023

Time: 9am-12pm

Cost: $250

Location: Crusaders Rugby Club (2214 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON)

The MultiSport camp structure allows young athletes freedom to have fun, playing a variety sports, creating friendships as well as improving both life skills and athletic skills. The primary focus of this camp is to give kids experience in various sports where they learn transferable athletic skills as well as develop valuable life skills. The consistent development of the various skills will set them on the right track to lifelong engagement in physical activity.

 

The GridIron Athletic Club summer camps offer coed programs designed to help build character, confidence and champions in life and in sport. Through a variety of fun-filled, challenging games, contests and activities, GridIron Athletic Club will help introduce kids to the sport of football and provide them with the competitive edge needed for they upcoming season of sport.

In the MultiSport camp your child will learn how to:

  • Control the balls used in various sports using hands (basketball, volleyball, football) as well as feet (soccer);
  • Control their body while moving and performing actions associated with different sports (acceleration, deceleration change of direction, etc.);
  • Use various footwork and movement patterns
  • Develop strength and endurance that will help them in whichever sport they play;
  • Develop valuable life skills in a social setting (collaboration, communication, teamwork, and leadership.)
